About

I am a NJ city girl living on a farm in rural UT. It all started when I crossed the plains on a Greyhound bus to go to college in Idaho. I next traveled to UT and BYU, where I graduated with a BA in English/minor in history. Since then I got married, had six children, five girls and one boy. (No, you don’t need to feel sorry for him!) I taught 7th and 8th grade English for sixteen years. At present I have seven grandchildren.

I am passionate about writing, Ireland, and chocolate.

I love traveling, Shakespeare, photography, scrapbooking, and cooking.

I am allergic to all animals! Can you believe I married a farmer? Still, I couldn’t resist, I have a pet ferret named Sophia.

I’m looking forward to sharing all things Irish with you!
